The Wildcard wine range offers great value for money. The people in the area call him the "Baron of Barossa-Valley."" And for thewine magazine ""Decanter"", he is nothing less than the ""living legend of Australian wine"". He is Peter Lehmann, son of a Lutheran pastor. He will be 75 this year. Five generations of his family have lived in this region of Australia. But he was the first to enter the wine trade. Under his rule, the company continued to grow until it was processing 15,000 tons of grapes per year, essentially from independent winegrowers. Lehmann himself, has no more than 55 hectares of vineyards, of which 18 hectares in the Stonewell vineyards were purchased in 1994. The domain now belongs to the Hess Group AG. (The Hess Collection Winery, USA / Glen Carlou Vineyards, South Africa / Bodega Colome, Argentina and Peter Lehmann Wines in Australia).
