Special notes

Moulin-à-vent is considered to be the noblest of Beaujolais wines, its name relates to an old windmill that stands on a hill in Romanèche-Thorins. It is produced in an area that extends over 650 hectares of vines and its excellent qualities are due to a granitic soil containing manganese.
