An open bouquet of red and black fruit enhanced by woody notes. A very elegant wine, balanced, ample and dense, with smoothness andripe tannins, but not yet fully blended. Soon to be a great crowd pleaser.

Since 1991, the Chateau Haut Bergey as well as the Chateaux Barde Haut (Saint-Emilion), Branon (Graves) and Clos L'Eglise (Pomerol)have belonged to the Garcin-Cathiard family. After their acquisition, the latter hired Michel Rolland, who has since managed the winemaking and lending his personal touch to the process. The planting of some 20 hectares in the Haut Bergey is as follows: 40% Merlot and 60% Cabernet Sauvignon.
