Degustation notes

Deep red garnet colour, an expressive bouquet combining red and black berries with hints of smoke and mousse. Evident tannins on the palate, not yet coated, an intense fruitiness, combining opulence and elegance in an ending with great length. An impressive wine that deserves to mature for a few years.

Special notes

Château Haut-Brion in Pessac near Bordeaux is one of the most famous vineyards in the world. Formerly, the vineyard was located at the outskirts of Bordeaux. With the expansion of the city, the domain is now located at its doorstep and has a particular microclimate that gives the wine its unique character. The Haut-Brion vignard covers 42.5 hectares. The vines are 45% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. The Haut-Brion domain also produces a very rare Haut-Brion white wine. But the domain owes its fame to their world-renowned red wines. Château Haut-Brion has a peculiarity: its very own bottle. The form differs from that of other Bordeaux wines. The shape is cylindrical, with a more squared shoulder between the body and the neck. It is unique.

Intessanter wert - Wein ist sehr gut mit ausgezeichnetem Value und grossem lagerpotential. Leider etwas zu teuer im vergleich mit anderen weinshops
