Degustation notes

Dark cherry red colour, a lovely, sweet bouquet of blackcurrant, powerful fruity berry aromas, a very slight hint of spicy compote and discreet hints of wood, the result of 15 months of barrel ageing. Fleshy on the palate, full-bodied with elegance, a magnificentaromatic presence, well structured with a nice look. A very balanced wine with enchanting aromas.

Special notes

Maturation 15 months in American and French oak barrels. La Bodega was founded by Don Louis Tirasso in 1891, considered to be one of the pioneers of viticulture in Mendoza. Today, Santa Ana is one of the leading wineries in wine export. The vineyard extends over 251 hectares. Mainly Chardonnay and Torrontes for white and Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah for red, are grown.

Very good wine. Maybe needs some ageing. Don't drink it to young or you will miss out on the full potential flavour this wine has to offer.
