Wine has been produced without interruption since the XVIth century here. The Ricaud family and vintner David + Foillard bought thedomain in 1985. Large investments transformed the castle into one of the greatest in the southern Rhone Valley. The wine is vinifiedin new oak and used barrels, and in tanks. The vineyard area is 77 hectares with vines that average 45 years of age.
