Much better wine than the price would indicate. Carmenare is tasty and the Cab provides some structure. Screw top is a plus. This works with everything from oily fish to grilled meat. Not great, but no strange cheap wine notes.

Dark purple colour, pronounced cassis on the nose, earthy character, supple on the attack, average power, lovely, enveloping tannins on the palate, easy to drink, with balanced berry aromas into the finish.
Carmenere is an old grape variety from France (Bordeaux), now updated, was long confused with chilian Merlot. Today, it is vinifiedalone and is finding more and more appeal with wine enthusiasts.
