Wine information

Kaiserstuhl, Germany

Pinot Noir

Goes well with

Lamb, pork, rabbit and medium strength hard cheese

Degustation notes

A typical Pinot Noir light ruby colour, a nose with aromas of cherries, berries and flowers, a touch of velvet on the palate, soft and fruity, well-coated ripe tannins, a firm, elegantly aromatic wine.

Special notes

Kaiserstuhl is located at the heart of the Rhine Valley between the Vosges and the Black Forest, named after Emperor Otto III, known for its powerful Pinot Noir wines. The favourable geographical location, the rain and the shadow of the Vosges and Burgundy characterize the mild climate near the extinct volcano. The soil is ideal and the noble Pinot Noir vines thrive.
