Degustation notes

Dark ruby colour, underlying wood aromas that result from being matured in barrels for 24 months, an intense bouquet of assorted black berries with a touch of ivy and mint, roasted nuances and a hint of vanilla, full-bodied and spicy in the mouth revealing pleasant tannins, suitably ample, moderately robust with good length.

Special notes

Raimat Castle's domain and its surrounding 3,000 hectares was purchased by the sparkling wine manufacturer Codorniu. 2,200 hectareswere irrigated and local vines were planted, along with cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay and pinot negro. A new cellar was built. Since then, Raimat makes some of the most interesting spanish wines.
