Clear translucent yellow with green hues, an intensely fruity bouquet, daisies, with hints of honey and nutmeg. A freshness on the palate with fruitiness that confirms the aromas on the nose, with a long, smooth finish.

Special notes

The Château d'Agel occupies the best land of the Minervois controlled appellation, in the Languedoc. The vineyards around Agel, a quiet village of Narbonne, that dominates the Château Agel is characterized by alluvial soil mixed with pebbles in the valley bed, high quality soil interspersed with calcareous veins on the Cazelles plateau, above some 180 meters. Macabeu, dry Muscat, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Rolle grapes. Soil and climate deposits on the banks of the Cease, normally a dry river. Shards of limestone on the Causse de Cazelles. A typical Mediterranean climate that is characterized by mild, humid winters and hot dry summers. Size and performance: classic cup size on vines of more than 50 years of age. The Macabeu was planted in 1956, the Muscat in 1958. Controlled yields of 35 to 40 hl/ha, manual harvest and sorting of the grapes.
