Degustation notes

Dark cherry red, an intense bouquet of ripe berries mingling with notes of juniper and spicy nuances, well-structured on the palatewith ripe fruit also revealing earthy notes and unveiling creamy tannins at the finish. Ideal to accompany a meal. This wine has not been filtered, a light deposit may form.

Special notes

The Merlot vines that give life to this wine are grown at the foot of Monte Generoso, in Morbio Inferiore. The """Roncobello"""" acquires its typical flavour from maturing in large chestnut casks, which gives it its great power and storing potential.
