Deep ruby colour, a nose of plum and ripe black berries, punctuated with notes of cinnamon and cloves, rounded with a pleasant softness supported by grainy tanins, fleshy, a concentration of ripe fruit flavours on the palate, undoubtedly a southern wine, balancedand supple, without being heavy and a beautiful full-bodied finish.
The Vigne & Vini Winery is located in Leporano in the province of Taranto. Vines have been cultivated with passion since antiquity in this region, leveraging ideal climatic conditions. Primitivo is an intense, tasty grape variety that was exported to the United States around 1825. It is now firmly established in California, where it's called Zinfandel. Moi is produced in the south of the province of Taranto, in the AOC (DOC in Italian) of Manduria, where the climate benefits from the influence of the nearby Ionian Sea. Aged for eight months in barrels.
