Degustation notes

Onion skin colour, a delicate nose, ample with aromas of wild berries and red cherries, hints of caramel, pleasant on the palate with spicy aromas of very ripe berries, a dynamic body, fresh and long, a pleasant summer wine that can be enjoyed on any occasion.

Special notes

The vineyard in Schaffhausen covers about 500 hectares. Klettgau represents the largest part with 370 hectares and Hallau constitutes the undisputed wine producing center. The majority of the vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir. The whites are essentially Riesling-Sylvaner and other specialties such as Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc.
