Degustation notes

Intense garnet colour, spicy scents of small overripe berries and stewed fruit, good quality wood, supple and ample on the attack revealing all the richness of fruit, notes of raisins and Agen prunes, a wine with lots of character, plenty of extracts and evident tannins, a lengthy, spicy finish.

Special notes

This wine is stored for 18 months in oak barrels. Its origin dates back to the 1300's. The name Nobile might come from the fact that it was mostly the local Montepulciano noble families that were devoted to its cultivation. Fratelli Triacca bought the Santavenereestate in the 1980's with close to 30 hectares of land. Matured for 2 years and the Riserva for 3 years.
