Degustation notes

Dark ruby colour, an intense aromatic range with a nose of Amarena cherries, raspberry jam, marzipan, wet slate, chocolate, very complex, a mouth revealing a highly concentrated fruitiness, set in lush and ripe tannins, refreshing acidity, a beautiful wine with strength and yet full of elegance and freshness, a typical Priorat that can certainly be recommended.

Special notes

The Priorat is the oldest wine region in Catalonia. In the Middle Ages, it was one of the main wine production areas in Spain. Followed by centuries of calm... until the 1989 revival, initiated mainly by L'Ermita, Clos Erasmus and Finca Dofi wineries whose reputation is secured in the international market. In 2001, Priorat rose to the highest quality level in Spain, DOCa (Denominación de Origen Calificada). Priorat and Rioja are currently, the only regions that you can display the AOC label.
