Degustation notes

A very intense nose of ripe exotic fruit, honey and spices. Combining ampleness and power in the mouth, while remaining elegant andharmonious, notes of citrus and peach. Intense at the finish, characterized by a length and complexity that is exceptional and portends a bright future.

Special notes

One of the largest and most famous vineyards in Barsac. In Marcel Baly's possession since 1977, but its only with the 1983 vintage that a return of the label is confirmed. And the good vintages finally brought the Château Coutet to firmament. The vineyard area is35 hectares with vines that are 35 years on average. The vinification always takes place in a third new oak barrels, and the wine is aged for 2 years in oak barrels until bottling.

    Hervorragender Dessert-Wein - Wunderbare Aromen von Zitrusfrüchen, Dörrobst und Honig... ein wahres Feuerwerk im Mund. Mit seiner ausgewogenen Säure hat der Wein dennoch ein schönes Rückgrat und bietet eine Balance zu den fruchtigen Aromen.

    Ein wirklich toller Wein zum Dessert oder einer feinen Käseplatte und wirklich seinen Preis wert!
