A marvel, well-rounded, shaped by time. A beautiful amber colour with copper highlights, this wine reveals aromas of candied fruit,cocoa and licorice. The palate is generous and full with a sweet, beautiful finish.
Mutage stops the action of the yeast before it transforms all the sugar into alcohol. Thus Rivesaltes retains part of the natural sweetness contained in the fruit. Fermentation takes place in barrels, half barrels or casks. It continues a slow maturation which lasts for more than fifty years.
