Degustation notes

Medium ruby red colour, an expressive nose marked by aromas of sour cherries, grass and dried hay, stewed plums and hints of leather, ample on the palate, with lots of ripe fruit, evident ripe tannins, delicate acidity, well-integrated barrel notes and a long fruity finish.

Special notes

The Rosso di Montalcino DOC appellation allows Montalcino producers to make their wine in just a year. The best grapes can then be reserved for the Brunello di Montalcino, which has to mature for four years. The lighter wines are reserved for the Rosso di Montalcino.
