Ruby colour, an intense bouquet of spices and stewed notes, with hints of leather and dried fruit, very scented in the mouth markedby notes of faded rose and violets, ripe tannins that are still present, encompassed in its trademark of well-integrated acidity, juicy and structured at the finish.
Trerose - is one of the largest producers of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The wine's origin dates back to 1300. The name Nobile could stem from the fact that it was usually the noble families of the region of Montepulciano who took on the production of this wine. It is made from a blend of Sangiovese, locally called Prugnolo Gentile (min. 70%), Canaiolo Nero (max. 10%) and sometimes other varieties allowed in the area (max. 20%). Prescribed storage is 2 years, the Riserva appellation can be given after 3 years.
