Special notes

This wine has matured for 12 months in barrels. In 1920, when Swiss viticulture experienced its worst crisis, many winemakers beganto work together at the regional level. Logical consequence, four wine cooperatives were created between 1930 and 1932. As cellars refused to sell wine, in 1932 winemakers founded their own sales organization, the Association of wine-growers' cooperatives of Valais, called Provins. The Maitre de Chais are considered to be Provins' high end wines. Vieilles Vignes is a wine that regularly receives distinctions.
