  • Syrup
  • 1 dl water
  • 100 g sugar
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • Crisps
  • 1 sour apples (e.g. Boskoop), cut into approx. 2 mm slices
  • 1 pears, cut into approx. 2 mm slices
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • Syrup

    Bring the water, sugar and cinnamon to the boil, allow the syrup to cool slightly.
  • Crisps

    Mix the apple and pear with the lemon juice, toss in the syrup, allow the excess to drip off, place on two baking trays lined with baking paper.
  • To dry

    Approx. 2 hrs. in the centre of an oven preheated to 100°C, turning twice. Remove from the oven, transfer to a cooling rack with the baking paper and leave to cool.
  • Tip:

    This recipe also works without syrup
