  • 3 tbsp. Water
  • 1 tbsp. dark sultanas
  • 1 apples, cut into segments
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Organic lemon, a little grated zest and 1/2 tbsp of juice, cut into segments
  • 1 tbsp. liquid honey
  • 5 sprig thyme
  • a little cinnamon


  • Boil the sugar and water in a wide-bottomed pan without stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer, shaking the pan occasionally, until a light brown caramel has formed. Add the lemon wedges, remove the pan from the heat, continue stirring until the caramel has dissolved.
  • Add the honey, sultanas, apple, thyme and cinnamon, mix. Place everything in an ovenproof dish.
  • Bake for approx. 12 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool. Serve with the crema all'amaretto.
