Ingredients

  • Marinade
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 tbsp. ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp. raw sugar
  • Meat
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 0.5 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 250 g Mungo bean sprouts
  • 1 lime, use only the juice
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • a little pepper
  • Salad
  • 2 tbsp. apple vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. liquid honey
  • 1 tsp. chili flakes
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • 3 spring onions, including green parts, cut into thin strips
  • 1 cucumber, geschält, entkernt, in feinen Streifen
  • 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips

Instructions

  • Marinade

    Combine the oil with all the other ingredients up to and including the sugar. Set aside half of the marinade.
  • Meat

    Mix the mince with the remainder of the marinade. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the meat for approx. 4 mins., add the sprouts and lime juice, pour in the reserved marinade, season.
  • Salad

    In a bowl, mix the vinegar with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Add the spring onions, mix, leave to infuse for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the cucumber and pepper.
