Ingredients

  • 400 g blackberries
  • 1 bag vanilla sugar
  • Bake
  • 300 g sandwich bread in Scheiben, geviertelt
  • 2 tbsp. clarified butter
  • 40 g hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • Liaison
  • 3 fresh eggs
  • 1.5 dl single cream
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • icing sugar to dust

Instructions

  • Fruit

    Combine the blackberries and vanilla sugar.
  • Bake

    Heat the clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the bread and nuts for approx. 5 mins. until golden brown, then mix in the blackberries.
  • Liaison

    Combine the cream, eggs and sugar, pour into the pan. Reduce the heat, use a spatula to keep moving the mixture and cook for approx. 5 mins. until the egg mixture becomes solid. Dust the bread with icing sugar.
