  • Bring the water to the boil. Blanch the beans in batches for approx. 3 mins., remove with a slotted spoon, cool immediately in ice-cold water. Remove, drain well.
  • Note:

    Always blanch vegetables in batches otherwise the water cools too quickly. Bring the water back to the boil before adding the next batch.
