Ingredients

  • Reis kochen
  • saltwater, siedend
  • 300 g long grain rice
  • Poulet braten
  • clarified butter zum Braten
  • 600 g chicken breasts, in ca. 2 cm grossen Würfeln
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • a little pepper
  • Currysauce
  • 2 apples, in Schnitzen
  • 2 onion, in Schnitzen
  • 1 tbsp. white flour
  • a little clarified butter
  • 1 tbsp. medium hot curry powder
  • 2 dl chicken stock
  • 2 dl milk
  • 1 bunch chives, fein geschnitten

Instructions

  • Reis kochen

    Cook the rice in salted water until al dente, drain, cover and set aside.
  • Poulet braten

    Cut the chicken breasts into approx. 2 cm cubes, brown the chicken in batches in the hot clarified butter for approx. 2 mins. Remove, season.
  • Currysauce

    Slice the onions and apples, sauté in a little clarified butter for approx. 2 mins. Add the flour and curry, cook for approx. 2 mins. Pour in the stock and milk, bring to the boil, reduce the heat. Return the meat to the sauce, cover and simmer for approx. 6 mins. Finely chop the chives and sprinkle over the top.
