Cheese salad with Valais bread
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp clarified butter
- 250 g rye bread, cut into approx. 1 cm cubes
- 30 g walnut kernels, roughly chopped
- 1 onions, cut into thin slices
- 150 g mountain cheese (e.g. Gomser), cut into cubes
- 1 pears, diced
- 50 g dried meat (jerky), cut into strips
- 0.5 tbsp mustard
- 6 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 4 tbsp apple vinegar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- a little pepper
- 100 g lambs' lettuce

Instructions
- Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the bread and nuts for approx. 5 mins. until crisp all over. Mix the onions with all the ingredients up to and including the dried meat. Combine the mustard, vinegar and oil, season. Mix the dressing with the bread salad and serve with lamb's lettuce.
