  • Bases
  • 1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle
  • Sauce
  • 200 g Appenzeller cheese, coarsely grated
  • 100 g Gruyère, coarsely grated
  • 1 tbsp white flour
  • 1 dl full cream
  • 1.5 dl milk
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 2 fresh eggs
  • a little nutmeg
  • Utensils
  • 8 ovenproof mini tart tins (each approx. 8 cm in diameter), greased

  • Bases

    Cut out 8 pastry circles (each approx. 12 cm in diameter), transfer to the prepared tins. Prick the bases firmly with a fork, briefly refrigerate.
  • Sauce

    Mix the cheese with all the remaining ingredients, spread on top of the pastry.
  • To bake

    Approx. 30 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180°C.
