  • 1 bag vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. gluten-free baking powder (Dr. Oetker)
  • 1.5 dl milk
  • icing sugar to dust
  • 250 g cherries, pitted (yields approx. 230 g)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 60 g butter, liquid
  • 300 g gluten-free flour mixture (e.g. from Schär)

  • Beat together the sugar and remaining ingredients with the eggs using the whisk on a hand mixer for approx. 5 mins. until the mixture turns a paler colour. Stir in the crème fraîche, milk and butter. Mix flour and baking powder, stir in, add the cherries, mix. Place the mixture into the prepared moulds.
  • Bake in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C for approx. 25 mins. Remove from the oven, cool on a cooling rack. Dust with icing sugar.
