Ingredients

  • Potato wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g waxy potatoes, sliced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Crispy chicken
  • 1 eggs
  • 1.5 tbsp white flour
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 2 chicken breasts (approx. 300 g), cut into pieces
  • Sauce
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 50 g ketchup

Instructions

  • Potato wedges

    Place the potatoes on a baking tray lined with baking paper, add the oil, salt and paprika, mix.
  • Crispy chicken

    Empty the flour into a shallow dish. Beat the egg in a deep bowl and place the breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Toss the chicken in the flour, shake off the excess, dip the chicken in the egg and then the breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs down firmly so that they adhere. Spread the chicken on top of the potatoes, brush with a little oil.
  • To bake

    Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220°C. Serve in a basket.
  • Sauce

    Mix the ketchup with the sambal oelek, serve with the chicken in a basket.
