Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 1 rectangular rolled-out croissant and Danish pastry dough or puff pastry
  • Filling
  • 2 tbsp hazelnuts, roasted, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 apples, quartered, cored, cut lengthwise into thin slices
  • 4 chocolate sticks (Branche bars, each approx. 23 g), broken into pieces
  • To decorate and bake
  • a little coffee cream to glaze
  • a little icing sugar to dust

Instructions

  • Dough

    Cut the dough into 6 equal rectangles, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Filling

    Mix the apple slices with the lemon juice, spread on top of the pieces of dough along with the hazelnuts and chocolate. Place two corners each over the filling, press down gently in the middle.
  • To decorate and bake

    Glaze the pastries with cream. Bake for approx. 20 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove from the oven, leave to cool on a cooling rack. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
