  • Strips of puff pastry
  • 1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 25 × 42 cm)
  • 2 tbsp red tapenade
  • 1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 12 slices dry-cured country bacon, halved lengthwise

  • 12 wooden skewers

  • Strips of puff pastry

    Roll out the pastry, spread the tapenade and parsley over the top, cut the pastry lengthwise into 12 strips of equal width. Place 2 strips of bacon on each.
  • Shaping

    Skewer the strips of pastry to create a wave pattern with a tip at the top. Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Bake

    Approx. 13 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C.
  • Tip:

    Use olive tapenade instead of tomato tapenade.
