Ingredients

  • Tomato skewers
  • a little olive oil
  • 200 g different coloured cherry tomatoes
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 6 sprigs rosemary, soaked in water for approx. 30 mins.
  • a little sea salt
  • Onion lollipops
  • 6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for approx. 30 mins.
  • 2 red onions, cut into slices approx. 5 mm thick
  • 0.5 tbsp honey
  • a little cayenne pepper
  • Potato slices
  • 250 g waxy potatoes, cut lengthwise into slices approx. 5 mm thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g sweet potato, cut lengthwise into slices approx. 5 mm thick
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 sprigs thyme, leaves torn off
  • Horn peppers with cream cheese
  • 4 horn peppers, deseeded
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 bunch chives, finely chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • a little pepper

Instructions

  • Tomato skewers

    Mix the tomatoes with the oil and salt, thread onto the rosemary sprigs. To grill the tomatoes Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Cover and grill the tomato skewers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 5 mins. all over. Remove the tomato skewers from the grill, drizzle with oil, season with salt.
  • Onion lollipops

    Push the wooden skewers into the middle of the onion slices. To grill the onions Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Cover and grill the onion lollipops over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 4 mins. on each side. Remove the onion lollipops from the grill, drizzle with honey, season.
  • Potato slices

    Mix the potatoes with the oil and salt. To grill the potatoes Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Cover and grill the potato slices over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 10 mins. on each side. Rotate the potato slices by one quarter every 5 mins. Remove the potato slices from the grill, garnish with thyme leaves.
  • Horn peppers with cream cheese

    Brush the peppers with oil. To grill the peppers Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Cover and grill the peppers over/on medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 10 mins. Mix the cream cheese with the chives, season. Fill the top part of the pepper with cream cheese.
