  • Burger patties
  • 600 g mince (chicken)
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 stick lemongrass sticks, core finely chopped
  • 0.5 tbsp curry powder
  • 4 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • a little pepper

  • Burger patties

    Place the mince in a bowl along with all the other ingredients up to and including the coconut flakes, season. Mix well until the ingredients form a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 4 burgers.
  • Grill

    Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Grill the burgers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 6 mins. on each side.
  • Tip:

    Press down onto the raw burgers with your thumbs to make a cavity. This prevents the patties from arching while being grilled.
