  • 600 g pork strips
  • a little pepper
  • oil for frying
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 3 spring onion incl. green part
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 200 g bean sprouts
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 20 g sesame seeds

  • Heat the oil in a wok or a wide-bottomed frying pan. Brown the meat in batches for approx. 4 mins. per batch, remove from the pan, season.
  • Finely chop the spring onions, slice the green part into rings and set aside. Deseed the chilli pepper and slice it into rings. Heat a little oil in the same pan, stir-fry the spring onions and chilli pepper for approx. 2 mins. Add the soy sauce and water, cover and simmer for approx. 2 mins.
  • Toast the sesame seeds, add them to the pan along with the reserved onion greens, bean sprouts and meat, mix and heat gently. Serving suggestion: Basmati or fragrant rice.
  • Tip:

    Replace the pork with chicken.
