  • Patties
  • 100 g fine polenta
  • 0.5 mango, cut into pieces
  • 2 tins chickpeas (approx. 400 g each), rinsed, drained
  • 2 garlic, pressed
  • 0.5 tsp. cumin
  • 0.75 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 0.5 bell peppers, cut into small cubes

  • Patties

    Roughly puree the chickpeas and mango. Mix the polenta with all the other ingredients, knead well by hand until the ingredients have combined to form a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 6 burgers.
  • Grilling

    Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Grill the falafel burgers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 4 mins. on each side.
