Ingredients

  • French toast
  • 2.5 dl milk
  • 1 parcel vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 150 g frozen berry mixture, slightly defrosted
  • 8 slices butter toast, cut into approx. 1 cm cubes
  • 20 g butter, in knobs
  • Utensils
  • 4 jars with lids (each approx. 250 ml)

Instructions

  • French toast

    Whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and salt. Divide the toast and berries between the jars, pour the eggy mixture over the top. Seal the jars, turn upside down for approx. 10 mins. Turn the jars the right way around, remove the lids, top with the butter and sugar.
  • To bake

    Approx. 45 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C.
