  • Paneer
  • 400 g paneer (indian cheese), cut into 1-cm-thick slices
  • 8 wooden skewers
  • 3 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. curry powder
  • 2 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 0.25 tsp. chili flakes
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • Serve
  • 2 lime, rinsed with hot water, dabbed dry, cut into segments
  • 0.5 bunch coriander, coarsely chopped
  • 1 red chili, insides removed, cut into rings

  • Paneer

    Place the paneer on the skewers. Combine the oil and all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, brush the paneer with the marinade, place in the grill tray. Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Cover and grill the paneer over/on a medium heat (approx. 220°C) for approx. 4 mins. on each side.
  • Serve

    Serve the paneer with the lime wedges, coriander and chilli.
