Ingredients

  • paneer
  • 400 g paneer, cut into slices approx. 1 cm thick
  • 8 wooden skewers
  • 3 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 0.25 tsp chilli flakes
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • To serve
  • 2 lime, rinsed with hot water, dabbed dry, cut into segments
  • 0.5 bunch coriander, roughly chopped
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded, cut into rings

Instructions

  • paneer

    Combine the oil and all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, brush the paneer with the marinade, place in the grill tray. Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Cover and grill the paneer over/on a medium heat (approx. 220°C) for approx. 4 mins. on each side.
  • To serve

    Serve the paneer with the lime wedges, coriander and chilli.
