Ingredients

  • Marinade
  • 2 tbsp. liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp. Brown rum (z.B. Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum)
  • Grilled Pineapple
  • 1 pineapple, geschält, in ca. 1 cm dicken Scheiben
  • 2 pinches sea salt
  • Serve
  • 125 ml vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tbsp. lemon balm, finely chopped

Instructions

  • Marinade

    Mix the honey and rum.
  • Grilled Pineapple

    Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Cover and grill the pineapple over/on a medium heat (approx. 220°C) for approx. 2 mins. on each side, coating the pineapple in the honey & rum marinade. Allow the pineapple to cool a little, sprinkle with fleur de sel.
  • Serve

    Shape the ice cream into 4 balls, serve with the pineapple and sprinkle with lemon balm.
