Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. peanut oil
  • 4 slices day-old wheat-rye bread (approx. 100 g), cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp. liquid honey
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • a little pepper
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • 4 pork cutlets from the loin (approx. 100 g each)

Instructions

  • To make the honey crust, combine the bread with the remaining ingredients including the olive oil, season.
  • Season the steaks on one side, spread 1/4 of the crust mixture on the other side, press on. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Brown the steaks, crust side down, for approx. 3 mins. over a medium heat, turn and finish cooking for approx. 7 mins.
