Ingredients

  • 1 pack vegetarian vegetable balls (200 g)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 pita bread
  • 200 g sour single cream
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 5 tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp. chilli powder
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into small cubes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g iceberg lettuce, cut into strips

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan, brown the vegetable balls for approx. 3 mins. and remove. Toast the pita breads in the same pan on both sides for approx. 1 min. each side, then slice in half lengthways. Mix together the sour half cream, ketchup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chilli powder, salt and pepper. Divide the salad, tomatoes and vegetable balls into the pita breads and serve.
