  • 800 g leg of lamb, ohne Knochen
  • 2 onion
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil zum Braten
  • 0.75 tsp. salt
  • a little pepper aus der Mühle
  • 3.5 dl red wine (trockener spanischer Rotwein)
  • 2.5 dl meat bouillon
  • 500 g baby potatoes
  • 1 Glas artichoke hearts in oil (z.B. Fine Food Artischockenherzen in Olivenöl)
  • 2 sprig rosemary
  • 0.5 head lettuce with lettuce hearts
  • 0.5 lemon, nur Saft

  • Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces Slice the onions into rings and thinly slice the garlic. Heat the oil in a frying pan, brown the meat in batches for approx. 4 mins. per batch. Add the onions and garlic, sauté for 2-3 mins., season. Pour in the wine and stock, add the rosemary, bring to the boil, cover and braise on a low heat for approx. 60 mins. Halve the potatoes and add 25 mins. before the end of the cooking time.
  • Drain the artichokes, chop the salad into strips, add, heat through and allow to combine in the dish for 3-4 mins. Add the lemon juice.
