  • 600 g minced meat (beef)
  • 1 spring onions incl. green parts
  • 30 g day-old half-white bread
  • 0.25 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tsp Thai 7-spice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp thyme leaf
  • a little pepper
  • oil for frying
  • 1.5 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.25 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes

  • Place the meat in a bowl. Finely chop the spring onions, cut the green part into rings, finely chop the parsley and thyme, chop up the bread. Add all the ingredients to the meat, season and knead the mixture by hand until the ingredients bind together.
  • With wet hands, shape the meat mixture into 12 patties. Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan, fry the patties in batches for approx. 3 mins. on each side, remove from the pan and keep warm.
  • For the salad dressing, mix together the mustard, vinegar and oil. Finely chop the parsley, stir in, then season the dressing. Cut the tomatoes in half, add to the dressing and mix together. Serve the salad alongside the patties. Serving suggestion: White bread.
  • Tip:

    Prepare the patties with mixed minced meat.
