  • 500 g minced meat (beef)
  • clarified butter to fry
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrots
  • 100 g celery
  • 3 tbsp. tomato puree
  • 2.5 dl red wine
  • 2.5 dl meat bouillon
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 bay leaves
  • 0.5 tbsp. thyme leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 500 g elbow macaroni
  • saltwater, boiling

  • Heat the clarified butter in a frying pan. Fry the minced beef in batches for approx. 3 minutes each, then remove from the pan.
  • Chop the onion finely, dice the carrots and celery, and sauté in the same pan briefly. Add tomato puree and cook briefly. Add the wine, bouillon, paprika, bay leaf and minced beef. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer, covered, for approx. 30 minutes. Add the thyme and season.
  • Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente, then drain and serve with the meat sauce. Serving suggestion: serve with grated cheese.
