Onion Tartlets with Smoked Salmon

  • 3 tbsp. cream
  • 2 tbsp. sour single cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp. prepared grated horseradish
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 250 g onion, cut into thin strips
  • pepper
  • 0.5 Betti Bossi Family cake dough, rolled into a rectangle
  • 200 g organic smoked salmon in slices
  • 0.5 bunch chives, finely chopped


  • Heat the butter in a wide-bottomed pan and sauté the onion for approx. 10 mins. Stir in the cream, season, allow to cool completely. Cut out 4 circles each approx.11 cm Ø from the dough, place in the prepared moulds. Top with the onion mixture.
  • Bake for approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C. Remove the tartlets and allow to cool a little. Carefully remove from the moulds.
  • Mix the sour half cream with the horseradish, season with salt. Place one dollop on each of the tartlets and top with the salmon. Scatter over the chives.
