  • Lettuce
  • 6 baby lettuce, halved lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • Salsa
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • a little pepper
  • 1 spring onions incl. green parts, cut into thin rings
  • 0.5 red chilli pepper, deseeded, finely chopped
  • 4 Medjool dates, cut into strips

  • Lettuce

    Mix the lettuce with the oil and salt, fry in batches in a non-stick frying pan for approx. 1 min. on each side, allow to cool slightly.
  • Salsa

    Mix the vinegar with the oil, salt and pepper. Add the spring onions and chilli pepper, mix. Drizzle the salsa over the lettuce, top with the dates.
