  • Satay
  • 2 plaice fillets (MSC) (approx. 80 g each), cut into 2-cm-wide strips
  • 1 avocado, not too soft, cut into 3-cm pieces
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • 8 wooden skewers
  • oil to fry
  • Lemon Balm Oil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 0.5 bunch lemon balm, coarsely chopped
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • a little pepper

  • Satay

    Season the fish and avocado with salt, place the fish in a wave pattern on skewers with the avocado pieces, coat with oil. Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Grill the skewers for approx. 6 mins. all round over/on a medium heat.
  • Lemon Balm Oil

    Puree all the ingredients or crush in a pestle and mortar. Coat the plaice & avocado satay with melissa oil and serve the remaining oil separately alongside.
