Ingredients

  • 3 dl apple juice
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod, cut open lengthwise, seeds scraped out
  • 250 g raspberries
  • 250 g blueberries
  • Utensils
  • For 4 glasses approx. 300 ml each

Instructions

  • For the canning liquid, bring all the ingredients up to and including vanilla seeds to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for approx. 3 mins. Add the berries and allow to stand for approx. 1 min. Using a slotted spoon, fill the clean, warmed jars with the berries while they are still hot. Bring the liquid to the boil again and pour it into the jars until it covers the berries. Seal the jars immediately and let them cool on a cloth.
  • Shelf life:

    in a cool, dark place for approx. 3 months. Once opened, keep the jar in the fridge and consume the berries quickly.
