  • 3 dl apple juice
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod, cut open lengthways, seeds scraped out
  • 250 g raspberries
  • 250 g blueberries

  • For the canning liquid, bring the apple juice, sugar, and vanilla beans and seeds to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer approx. 3 minutes. Add the berries and allow to stand for approx. 1 minute. Using a slotted spoon, fill the clean, warmed jars with the berries while they are still hot. Bring the liquid to the boil again and pour it into the jars until it covers the berries. Seal the jars immediately and let them cool on a cloth.
