Ingredients

  • Pastry dough
  • 300 g light spelt flour
  • 0.75 parcel dry yeast
  • 1.5 dl lukewarm water
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • Fillings
  • 4 frankfurter sausages
  • 2 tbsp mixed seeds
  • 1 carrots, halved lengthwise
  • 1 courgettes (small), halved lengthwise

Instructions

  • Pastry dough

    Mix the flour and yeast in a bowl. Add the water, oil and salt, mix and work into a soft dough, knead for several minutes. Cover the dough and leave to rest for approx. 30 mins.
  • Fillings

    Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, shape into strands approx. 20 cm long. Wrap one strand each around the sausages and vegetable halves, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with a little water, sprinkle with seeds.
  • Bake for approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C.

    Ca. 20 Min. in der Mitte des auf 200 Grad vorgeheizten Ofens.
  • Tip:

    You can also use slices of pepper.
