Ingredients

  • Chickpeas
  • 1 tin chickpeas (ca. 410 g), abgespült, abgetropft
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes (ca. 400 g)
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • a little pepper
  • Meatballs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 0.5 bunch flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 organic lemons, nur 1/2 abgeriebene Schale
  • 1.25 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • clarified butter to fry
  • a little pepper

Instructions

  • Chickpeas

    Combine the chickpeas and tomatoes in a pan, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for approx. 10 mins., season.
  • Meatballs

    Place the meat in a bowl, then add the onion, garlic, parsley, lemon zest and breadcrumbs, season. Knead well by hand. With wet hands, shape the mixture into approx. 20 balls, toss the balls in the sesame seeds. Heat the clarified butter in a frying pan. Fry the meatballs on all sides for approx. 8 mins. Serve with the chickpeas.
